**a Day To RemMEmBerr**

yesterday was my mom's birthday but then have a clash with the scorm thingy.. the scorm thingy took up like almost the whole day.. my friends and i did the same thing last yr.. n now, we decided to helped out again.. we have to perform eye checks on these lower sec sch kids (they're ex-students of the pri sch that we went to) and see how good or bad their vision have become.. hmm.. anyways, met a few "real" optoms.. haha.. there were 2 of them and they happen to be in the same cohort as one of our lecturers in school.. same class, etc.. haha.. they quite friendly.. they tried to talk to us although there's nothing much to talk about.. LOL.. one optom named Farouk (not sure if spelt correctly) kept asking us if we're hungry,etc. haha. he sounded worried.. but like nth else to ask.. practically all the times he came up to us, he asked the same question.. LOL.. but ya, he was just being considerate and polite.. =)


then we decided to have lunch at jurong point.. mic also had to go off.. she onli took half day.we waited for taxi for so long and we oni had one hour break.. LOL!! so we like made a big detour and somehow ended up at the lakeside mrt station again.. haha.. so decided to take train.. no time le mah.. had to rush... after makan, we sort of rushed back to the pri sch... 2nd half of the session was more slack than the 1st part of the day.. lesser students.. so shan me n pam played lame love games.. LOL.. start scandals for no apparent reason... obviously we were bored.. then when farouk came over, we pretended to talk abt eye stuffs... LOL!! very fake lo.. haha!! that farouk guy is scary also lo.. got once, he stared at this small little girl for getting the character on the eye chart wrong.. he stared until the girl got it correct.. stared in a fierce way.. haha.. i pity that girl.. somehow he reminds me of santa claus.. but he's kinda short.. so ya.. short santa.. hehehe!!


there were a few nurses.. pretty old but u can try to imagine.. all aunties that sit one corner and gossip type.. haha.. sometimes they're pretty noisy too.. LOL!! but luckily, dun have that evil "sister peck" .. she looks down on us.. i mean, so what if we're poly students?? haiz.. anyways, there were this group of middle age grp peeps whose probably in the uni and stuffs.. so there were 3 grooups of people.. us + nurses + uni peeps .. like all divided to age groups.. LOL.. some of the kids dun look like they're in sec sch.. they look reli small.. there was one who wore the same exact tshirt as shan.. LOL!!


after the whole scorm thing, we took a cab back to bishan and stopped by at J8.. i havent got anything for my mom. it was her birthday yesterday.. so after gg window shopping for a bit, finally bought my mom a necklace from perlini's silver. went home after that, and we're suppose to go out for dinner together.. but my mom had to send my grandma to the hospital ard late afternoon.. so sad.. but its a gd thing too..

before my mom reached home.. my sis and i decided to do a little sth for my mom.. we wanted to surprise her.. we decided to sing for my mom.. her favourite song.. my sec 2 sis, aqila, and me sang like 1 verse and the twins sang the rest of the song.. they're really enthu mahs.. haha.. so let them sing.. haha..! then we also prepared a mini video with many pix to remind her of our sweet memories tgt as a famili.. like holidays, birthday parties, etc. then after the clip ended, we off the lights and surprised her with the cake.. my dad bought from sweet secrets.. yummy!!! it was reli chocolatey.. so yah.. it turned out pretty well for sth that was planned last min.. after dinner, we had the cake as deserts..

the whole day was really nice and filled with lovely memories*~

wah. so long le never update sia.. hmm.. i dunno where to start.. like so many things happen at the same time like nothing happened.. haha.. abit hard to explain la..


recently i always feel sleepy in class la.. must be the night before.. always on the comp also dunno what i doing.. if i were to say, abit lame la.. but lol.. i'll say anyways.. recently i use 'iTunes' player. before that i used windows media player.. then i realised abit mafan la. so switched to iTunes.. ThanKS DeB!! hehe... more organised la.. so can add album picture, edit song title, name,etc. haha.. lame i noe.. thats what ive been doin la.. then also go to you tube.. keep watching some lame clips.. got afew more la.. but cant seem to remember most of them.. short term memory la.. hahha..

CIBAVision is giving a treat to all dopt yr 3 and 2.. but sadly, my class like not many people go leh.. i also not sure why.. its either cuz next day got test.. or sian.. dun wanna go.. Da Vinci Code leh..!! advertisements,etc like so nice.. but dunno leh.. shan said the critics grade the show a C+ only lo.. abit stunned.. anyways, too little people from dopt yr 2.. so they're even opening it up to yr 1.. ahahah..


these few weeks lots of tests and next week n followin week got 2 tests each.. sianz.. always no mood to study also lo.. in class like always physically there but not mentally.. lol.. monday got ophthalmic optics test la.. just now vivian opened up the lab for us to practise.. we're not suppose to mix up the lens and specs.. somehow some got mixed up.. cuz there were specs and lens everywhere.. then she flared la.. everyone so quiet.. then she abit flared the second time because of the PD rule.. she can be very fun .. but when she angry.. very scary.. all kept quiet lo.. hehe..


dunno when to go for soft lens fitting leh.. somehow like cant wait. yr 1 that time like so excited.. get free contact lens.. but in the end like never wear.. i should have taken coloured lo.. wasted man.. hmm, maybe this time round, try get coloured.. hehee... but dunno what colour yet la..


tomorrow got scorm.. the start of a few sessions at the same old 'rulang primary'.. its damn far lo.. its pretty near lakeside mrt.. but from bishan to lakeside abt 1 hr journey.. sian.. confirm sleep again on the train.. its a whole day affair lo... 8 plus to about 4 pm.. but the last time round was pretty fun but boring.. lol.. fun as in get to do auto-refracting, VA, etc. but boring cuz we stayed there like 1 whole day, and only 5 students appeared.. ok la.. not bad.. last time i remembered we always play the game 'mastermind' while slacking. lol..

sianz. its already third week of school. its freaking fast. =(


this sem there's more breaks in between but it kinda suck cuz every day its 8 to 5 pm. seriously its boring.. especially on fridays.. unlike during previous sems, we can feel its a friday cuz usually we have the "slacky" modules like CRS or IDEAS or CD.. [modules not related to optometry] but this time round, fridays are "heavy".. we have lectures till 5 pm solid.


but without a doubt, this sem is more practical to what we will be doing in the future and its fun.. the practicals we have now are like to test patient's vision,etc. its really cool.. recently we have to buy the equipment that optoms use to detect ocular diseases, find out if got any problems,etc.



todays my "bad luck" day. few things happened which made me so "suay"
1) bought whipped potato from 7-11 in the morning for a short breakfast but must go inside to train station. so put in inside my bag. then guess what.. its spilled.. o.o everyone in the train was like staring at me when i wad practically cleaning my bag. my bag super exp n its ruined by a $1 worth of whipped potato.. =(


2) i was called during ophthalmic optics and i felt really pressured cuz the lecturer said if i cannot answer the question, nobody gets to go home early.. luckily she helped me out in the answering of the question. i was practically givin all the wrong answer.. luckily she's not so evil la.. but so paiseh sia.. in front of the whole class, then she sent me back to my seat when she realized i wasnt of much help to her. LOL!


3) then wanna go print some notes, so we had to book computer in the comp lab. but suddenly when i inserted my admin card into the kiosk machine, i was blacklisted. dunno why at first, so panicked a while then go look for help. there's something wrong when i log out yesterday when i last used the comp. =S


4) mich helped me print notes. i must thank her!! but last page dunno why it didnt print.. then she asked me write out the last page of the next lecture.. diao.. -.-"


5) played my guy's psp while he rested and after one hour, while playing the game, i think i died like almost 20 times and had to restart again and again, but avtually got excuse, cuz i dunno how to play the game. LOL!! paiseh~
